Reve Campus Collective
Host a Campus Makeathon
A club brings the room and half the crowd. You bring the tools, credits, and prizes. People build to a tight theme, three judges pick winners, and the best entries win credit or cash prizes.
| Length | 3 to 4 hours |
| People | As many as you can |
| Co-host | A campus club |
| Prizes | Credit or cash |
Run one, start to finish
Eight steps, in order. Each one links to its full guide in the help center.
Decide to run one
Lock your date before anything else.
- Hit your floor. One Makeathon for your term keeps your seat.
- Leave runway. Two to three clear weeks, away from midterms and finals.
Find a club to co-host
Co-host with a club. They bring the room and half the crowd, you bring Reve.
- Pick the right partner. Design, CS, art, or entrepreneurship clubs fit best.
- Offer the deal. The program can fund their own events through your grant, and their board gets free Reve Pro for the term.
- Keep your signup link on everything. It stays yours, so your campus gets the credit.
Submit the event brief
The one approval gate. Send it once you have a date and a co-host.
- Pick a sharp theme. Brand a fictional coffee company, poster a film that does not exist. Fictional brands only.
- List the basics. Date, venue, headcount, budget, and credits sized to your crowd.
- Name the co-host and prizes. Credit or cash for the top three, cash approved case by case.
Reviewed in about 3 days. Credits land the day before doors open.
Set up your RSVP page on Luma
Make a Luma page so you know who is coming. Put your signup link on it so RSVPs can claim the student plan.
- Build the page. Title, date, venue, and your theme.
- Add your signup link. On the page, the room slide, and the table tent.
Promote it through both orgs
Announce from your channels and the club's. Aim for a full room.
- Post from both orgs. Same visual, same link, twice the reach.
- Lead with the theme and prizes. People show up for a hook and something to win.
Lock judges, prizes, and your prompt kit
The last pieces, so the day runs itself.
- Set three judges. You, the co-host, and one neutral with taste. Post the criteria. Craft, concept, use of editing.
- Confirm prizes. Credit or cash for the top three, sized in your approval.
- Grab the prompt kit. Project ideas by discipline to seed the room.

Run the day
Set the room, start people fast, then judge and make the ask. The run sheet, in order.
- Open the room, set up demo machines, and confirm credits before anyone arrives.
- Restate the theme and judging criteria so everyone builds toward the same thing.
- Put your school signup link on the QR sign and every demo machine.
- Move creators off the free plan and onto your signup link. Every signup through it lands on the student plan and credits your campus, so you can track them.
- Let people build while you and the co-host float. Aim for one finished win in the first five minutes.
- Run judging on craft, concept, and use of editing, then award the prizes.
- Make the ask once, at the peak. Signing up through your link takes thirty seconds with a school email.
- Photograph the room, the winners, and your three best creations.
Wrap up and send your recap
Close the loop while it is fresh.
- Attendance. Roughly how many people came through.
- Signups. How many claimed the student plan through your link.
- Photos. A few shots of the room, the table, and people making.
- Three best creations. The standout images from the day.
- Receipts. Photograph and email them to education@reve.art within two weeks, with your school name in the subject line.
