Reve Campus Collective
Request a Reve Guest Speaker
You request someone from Reve to speak at your campus, the program books the speaker and you bring the room and the crowd. It is a talk and a Q and A, often with a live demo, approved one campus at a time.
| Length | 60 to 90 minutes |
| People | A big room, 50 plus |
| Co-host | A club or a department |
| Speaker | Booked by the program, case by case |
Run one, start to finish
Seven steps, in order. Each one links to its full guide in the help center.
Float the idea before you promise it
A speaker is the one event the program cannot guarantee, so raise it early and keep it soft until it clears.
- Ask first. Post in #campus-leaders that you want a speaker and roughly when, before you tell anyone on campus.
- Make the case. A big room, a real audience, and a co-host who can fill seats are what get a request approved.
- Hold the date loosely. Pencil two or three windows so the program team has room to match a speaker's travel.
A speaker is approved case by case and is never guaranteed.
Line up a co-host and a big room
A talk needs a real audience and a room that holds it. A club or a department brings both.
- Pick a partner with reach. A large club, a department, or a lecture series can fill a hall in a way you cannot alone.
- Lock a room that fits. Aim for a lecture hall or an auditorium with a projector, a mic, and reliable power.
- Offer the deal. The program can fund a co-host's own events through your grant, and a partner club's board gets free Reve Pro for the term.
- Keep your signup link on everything. It stays yours, so your campus gets the credit.
Submit the event brief
The one approval gate. Send it once you have a window, a co-host, and a room in mind. This is where the speaker request gets reviewed.
- Name the speaker ask. Say it is a Guest Speaker request, the topic you want, and whether you hope for a live demo.
- List the basics. Your date windows, the venue, expected headcount, budget, and credits sized to your crowd.
- Name the co-host. The club or department filling the room, and the role they play on the day.
Reviewed case by case. The program team confirms the speaker and the date before you announce.
Set up your RSVP page on Luma
Once the speaker and date are confirmed, build a Luma page so you know who is coming. Put your signup link on it so RSVPs can claim the student plan.
- Build the page. Title, the confirmed date, the venue, and the speaker and topic.
- Add your signup link. On the page, the room slide, and any printed sign.
- Wait for the green light. Do not announce the speaker by name until the program team confirms it.
Promote it through both orgs
A speaker is a draw, so use it. Announce from your channels and the co-host's and aim to fill the room.
- Post from both orgs. Same visual, same link, twice the reach.
- Lead with the speaker and the topic. A named talk and a Q and A is the hook that fills seats.
- Pitch it as a talk plus a live look at Reve. People come for the speaker and leave able to try it.
Host the talk and run the room
The program books and preps the speaker. You own the room, the audience, and the signup ask. The run sheet, in order.
- Open the room early, test the projector, the mic, and the speaker's connection before anyone arrives.
- Confirm event credits landed so the audience can try Reve during or right after the demo.
- Put your school signup link on the QR sign, the opening slide, and any demo machine.
- Welcome the room, introduce the speaker, and set the shape. A talk, a demo, then a Q and A.
- Hand it to the speaker and keep time. Hold a clear block for Q and A so the room gets to ask.
- Make the ask once, at the end. Signing up through your link takes thirty seconds with a school email.
- Photograph the room, the speaker, and the crowd for your recap.
Wrap up and send your recap
Close the loop while it is fresh, and thank the speaker.
- Attendance. Roughly how many people filled the room.
- Signups. How many claimed the student plan through your link.
- Photos. A few shots of the talk, the speaker, and the crowd.
- Thank the speaker and the co-host. A quick public post and a private note go a long way.
- Receipts. Photograph and email them to education@reve.art within two weeks, with your school name in the subject line.
